LEED Application Submitted for Fox Restaurant Concepts in Novus Innovation Corridor

By admin 2 months ago

Green Ideas has submitted the final LEED certification application for three buildings owned by Fox Restaurant Concepts (FRC) to the U.S. Green Building Council.

Located on Parcel 3A at the Novus Innovation Corridor in Tempe, Arizona, the core & shell buildings include Flower Child, Blanco Taco Cocina + Cantina and North Italia restaurants. Since all three buildings are on the same site, Green Ideas Building Science Consultants has submitted for LEED-CS Silver level certification utilizing the LEED Campus Approach for the certification process, meaning that all three buildings will be submitted for LEED certification as one. LEED Silver level certification is required for all projects at Novus.

The core & shell portion of the restaurants were completion in April, with the tenant improvements currently under construction. The buildings were designed by Nelsen Partners Architects & Planners and will be open for business this Fall.

Green Ideas’ President Charlie Popeck said, “We are very excited to be working with Catellus Development on the three very popular restaurants and on Novus in general as their Building Science Consultant. This project will be another huge draw to the Novus Innovation Corridor”.

Stay tuned to Green Ideas Building Science Consultants at our Linkedin page and website to learn more about these and future projects we’re working on at Novus and around the globe.
